We are looking for an internet and social media savvy writer to create content for Hong Kong travel readers in Cantonese/English. The active aim is for the content to be crazily shared to travelers in Hong Kong. This is a part time job with no office. The aim of this project is to create and organise better travel info with a future development in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Crazy about social media trends across different platforms
- Creat different travel themed posts like stories, top 10's, tips, essential info, that caters to a Hong Kong audience
- Dig deep into Hong Kong travel habits and find viral stories and content
- Posts has to be in certain style and tone that provides instant absorption and chance to go viral
- Come up with post ideas and killer headlines for sharing purposes
- Work with Editor or other writers in developing stories and content strategy
Requirements:
- At least 1 year blogging or reporting experience for magazines or websites. Travel related will be a bonus
- Addicted to social media
- Has a clear understanding of what kind of content that could generate engagement and interest
- Deep interest in travel and writing
- Have lots and lots and lots of ideas
- A sense of humour and willing to learn
- Graphic design and basic photoshop skill desirable
- Must have native level speaking and writing in Cantonese/English skills
