我依家身在香港，I am a Canadian citizen，擁有國際駕駛執照，加拿大的駕駛執照已經過期超過10年了

如果我打算兩年後回流加拿大Toronto，我明白要重新考過加拿大車牌，但我想問，我可唔可以用國際駕駛執照揸車 in mean time? I doubt international driver license can convert into Canadian driver license, correct?

還是我在香港考個香港駕駛執照，然後都回流加拿大嘅時候可以convert to Canada driver license?

Can't convert from 香港駕駛執照 to Canada driver license in Toronto. You can use 國際駕駛執照 to drive in Canada , but can't buy car in here. Do you have hk driving license ?

禁如我有 G1 licence, 仲可以用國際車牌揸車嗎？

I don't have Hk licence, was thinking to get it if it can convert into Canadian driver license

So I guess I must start from scratch (written test, then road test)in order to obtain Canadian driver license?

And I would assume the whole process would like around a year or so, anything I can do to shorten the process time?

基本上你可以宜家即考香港車牌，等兩年後回流時申請定TD320,過到黎就可以即考筆試同G2路試,唔駛等咁耐！（正常途徑：考筆試-->等1年-->考G1路試(攞G2牌)-->再等1年-->考G2路試(攞G牌full licence)
PS: 考完筆試，如果想快d考G1路試，可以上駕駛班，就可以8個月後考G1路試!
