at least 3xk... Just saw one 2nd traded in 32k.

You may go to Central to check, but i think most of the shops don't have stock at the moment. You may need to book and pay deposit for the stock in next shipment.

Ask many shops already. They do not accept deposit. Just ask me to leave contact info. Then they will call me once available. Personally, I prefer give deposit because everything will be more "accurate".

Do you have an idea about the 2nd hand market of my 10D?

i think the reason why they are not willing to accept the deposits as they are not sure when will the next shipment arrive. It seems there is a worldwide shortage.....

The 2nd hand price for 10D is around 7k-9k, depending on the condition. Many people selling 10D recently maybe because of the recent announcement of 20D. Besides, if you are selling to those 2nd hand shop, the price will be much lower.

I just wish I can replace my camera like you.

Yes, Canon told me the Mark II shortage is because of "Olympic". HK reporters bought a lot of Mark II before they went to Athens. Really???

I will be very happy if I can sell10D in 9K. Very good price. OK, I will go checking in Monkok tonite.

I don't think 9K is a reasonable 2nd market price. If do, I would like to sell myself too and waiting for the 20D.

I checked the price from the 2 major auctions sites in HongKong. The 2nd market price of 10D body is around 6.5K-7.5K.

Anyway, I also don't think 1D or even 1D mark II is a good choice for an amateur photographer. Except those have much money and no way to spend.

Oh......I am not the one "have much money and no way to spend". In before, I only use "idiot camera". Since my hubby loves to play camera, I just try to learn more. Then we can always have same topic! Anyway, I sold out 10D in 8K yesterday and bought Mark II la! He...he...he!

Yes, they are all very heavy. I always ask my hubby to carry for me! I do not have my own lens. Just share my hubby's so I am not sure the exact model numbers. Let me check tonight.

Although using these equipments are very difficult me, I start finding more fun! Can catch my daughter's facial expression easily!

zeeeeeec, I think you are trade in your 10D with the mark II instead of sold it. so you can sold it ad 8K. Am I right?

According to dpreview, it's advised that 20D will be available on Sept 18 (in Japan)

20D: 2nd half of Sept
EF-S 17-85 IS lens: 2nd half of Sept
EF-S 10-22 lens: 2nd half of Nov
580EX: 2nd half of Oct

If EOS1 is better than EOS3, EOS3 is better than EOS30, i.e. 1 is better than 3... 10D is better than 300D... why 20D is better than 10D?

Base on the review report, it seems that 20D is much more better. I reckon that Canon will release another one to replace 10D... so I think I'll wait at this moment.
