In this Oct, my maid has work for me 4 years and I will renew her contract again.
Actually, she tell she want to leave(may be she earn enough) and I ask her to stay longer. So she say she will stay for 1 more year.
That is the 3nd contract, she will work only 1 years and then leave.
Anything I need to do? Ask her to sign a 1 month notice before she leave---->because more than 5 years need to pay the long term service compensation.
When she leave, what is the procedure for the imigration dept. and philipine dept?

I always wonder if a maid consecutively works for an employer for more than 5 years and, if she leaves on her own will, does the employer needs to pay her the long service payment?
Imagine we work in HK's offices, even if we work for more than 5 years, when we resign, our company will not pay the long service payment to us unless we're under redundancy.
