I have a dog and a baby gal at home....I think no problem both doggie & babe live together...only you should let your doggie knowing that the babe is one of your family member, you will love them both ~~
I am 3 months pregnacy. I have one shiba inu and one mini poodle. I am still sleep with my 2 dogs every night and ther is no conflict at all. I think we are human and we should be clever enough to ensure/teach the dog and the BB to get well together. Nowadays, many people only got one child and i believe my doggies will become the best friend of my BB. They can grow up together.
dogs are also your children, don't ever abandon them for another new family member. air purifier's good idea, i got 2 @ home as well. i grew up with cats when i was a baby and my parents even allowed them sleep with me, i am not allergic to dust/ hair/ changing weather at all, i believe growing up with animal will only strength your immune system in a good way.
