any non-specialist can be professional , experienced and even act like a specialist but the fact is he/she is still not a specialist
Non-specialist is not a specialist simply because non-specialist have not received adequate supervised training and/or did not passed all the required professional exams
A simplified painful story below(reported by apple daily news ,see old post):
A 3 yr old girl was treated by a non-paediatrician Dr C in Shatin four times (parents supposed this Dr C is a paediatrician) but still could not arrive at correct diagnosis.
Eventually the correct diagnosis was made by a real paediatrician but the effective treatment was given too late:evil:
unfortunately the girl suffered from permenant heart damage
This is a painful story to be learned
A paediatrician would not and should not recommend non-paediatrician when someone ask for a paediatrician
This is misleading, no matter how professional,experienced and patience this doctor is:(
if any baby or child after treatment by a non-paediatrician recommended by you gone wrong (like this story),will you feel regret?
back to the question,are you a real paediatrician?

I know Dr. Poon is not a paediatrician but he's very experienced in children. He'll treat adults only for allergy cases. For children he's very patient and professional. He's not a specialist but he act like a apecialist.
