BB Has Not Much Hair

My boy is 18-month-old already but still has not much hair, and it's very thin and not very dark. We've never shaved his hair for him.
Some people told us that we should shave his hair for him so that he'll have more thick hair when it grow back. Is that true?

Also, I'm concerned that he might not be getting enough nutrition and that's why he doesn't have too much hair.

Any comments or experience to share?

My girl has the same problem with yours. We never cut hair for her and her hair is growing very very slowly. But some told us that it's useless to cut now because it's too late. Is it true?

Hi both,
My girl also has not much hair & I also heard that it's too late to cut now. Believe it's not mainly the problem of nutrient. I feel my girl's hair problem is from her father's family. Both my mum-in-law and husband's little sister has less hair. And my little girl looks really the same as husband's sister. So, no worry. As long as they are healthy, then, it's good.

I believe that it's born from the family. Both me and my sister/brother has little hair when we're small. But my girl has even less hair. However, I heard from my relative that her daughter also has little hair when small but now very much when grow up! So I do not worry now.

Hehe.....my son almost got no hair when he's borned. Even now he's got very few hair. But when I was a baby, I also got very few hair......now it's very thick and dark! :lol:

Every baby's situation may not be the same. But I think it would be too early to worry about the hair of the baby. As long as they grow healthly, the hair will be getting strong, right?
