i had a miscarriage this May... it was my first pregnancy... "it" passed out naturally, so i didn't go through any operations...
within the first month of miscarriage, i observe the rules of 坐月 i.e. add ginger to everything i eat, use ginger water to wash my hair, avoid eating "cold" food/sushi... i made myself "ginger juice" "john" "milk" every night... and i eat lots of "fa gau"... i also take a multivitamin everyday (i take "Centrum - A to Z", coz it contains folic acid)... i've read articles abt suggesting women taking folic acid 3mths before pregnancy... so, remember to take it if u plan to get pregnant....
after the first month, i then take regular excercises, mainly swimming (3 times a week)... i think it helps...
i think the above helped me a lot... my period cycle was normal after the miscarriage... and i'm healthier...
i did not try to get conceived until 3 period cycles were over. Then, i "bingo"ed after 4 period cycles... i'm now almost 11 weeks... (looking back, the above must help to a certain extent coz last time, it took me over a year to get pregnant... and now, it only takes me 1-2 months :mrgreen:)...
just a word of caution... if u find yourself pregnant, try to get as much rest as possible... & remember to lie on your left side when u sleep...it'll help circulation & help the bb grow... & also eat more "fa gau"... it's really good...

u r welcome.... i totally understand how u feel abt wondering whether there'll be another pregnancy & whether it'll be a healthy one... coz i also had those doubts immediately after the miscarriage...
i know it's hard, but try to relax, try to think positively... i lost my 1st pregnancy at week 7... so, with this pregnancy, i was quite nervous at week 7, thinking whether it'll survive....
to some ppl, getting a healthy pregnancy is easy.... but to some, like me, it was like out of reach.... so, ppl like me have to do more to secure a healthy pregnancy... have faith in yourself... there's nothing wrong with u... my doctor told me that it's like u providing a house for your baby, there's nothing wrong with your house, it's just that the baby itself...
i forgot to mention in my last message that u should also get your husband to take multivitamin (one which contains folic acid) as well... coz i read an article mentioning that men should also have constant intake of folic acid to increase the chance of healthy pregnancy...
