Yesterday we attend a free trial class at Brain Builder at Nan Fung Centre, Tsuen Wan. It is okay la as it is free. They taught us how to play with kids to stimuate their brain deveolpment.

I also live in Tsing Yi but not in Villa Esplanada. My son and Woodsoil's daughter attend the same playgroup. Previously, I also thought of join the trial class organised by Brain Builder but my son was too young to attend this class and the time does not fit us.

By the way, which playgroup are your kids now attending? Can you introduce to me? I'm thinking to try Littleton in Discovery Park Tsuen Wan. What do you think? If my daughter reaches 1.5 years old, I want her to try the one in Learning Habitat.
Yesterday we attended the free trial class from 1800 after work. Is this time fit for you? however, I know that their class is from Mon to Fri normally.
The Learning Habitant has recently changed the admission age from 1.5yr old to 1yr old for Kindermusic (they do not call it playgroup and in fact it is not the same as other playgroup. They only dance and sing in that 45mins once every week). Their queue is very long and it would be better to submit the form first and then decide whether you want to join (there is no application fee anyway). Personally, I think 45mins once every week is rather not enough. Hence, I join the play groun in Tivoli (twice per week..or you can choose once per week on Sat) in addition to the Kindermusic. You see, we do not have much choice in Tsing Yi. Frankly speaking, I think joining the Kindermusic before 1.5 yrs old is rather too little and I wonder if they can follow any of the instruction from the teacher (you see, they only have 45mins and time is up by the time your little one is warm up)
all my families are living in VE. My parents and the second younger brother are living in one unit. My first younger brother is living in another unit. My own family moved there after my daughter born. They are all propery owner but I rent it. I want to see and feel the environment. Indeed the like VE but now too expensive for me to buy. I'm also thinking the school network is not so good for Kwai Ching primary schools. What is your plan? I may move in the future.
What is the usual time you and daughter play in clubhouse? I usually go there after work from 1900 - 2030. Can I meet you sometime available?

for tivoli, i want to join the sat course. do i need to register very very early?
thank you. today i called the tivoli nursery and asked about the playgroup held on sat. my daughter should be 1.5years at end of this year. she asked me to call them in Sep and Oct. Would it be too late or should I go there directly? however it seems that they don't allow me to register to the waiting list now.
I'm a working mom so that I prefer class on Sat and Sun. Any other good suggestions?
I thought I submit the application form to Tivoli when my daughter was 1 yr old and it was still consider to be late. I should have submit the form much earlier. I think your little one can learn more if you join the play group in Tivioli instead of the one in Kindermusik. However, the material given by kindermusik is very very impressive. I think going to the classes three times per week for 1.5yr old or above is just right.
Yes, the admission age for kindermusik was just changed. The number of classes of Kindermusik is double now. I think it was changed in either Jan or Feb that I can not remember.
I have just called Learning Habitat of Tsing Yi. the lady confirmed that their Kindermusik is still for minimum age 1.5 yrs old for admission. I will fax the form to them.
