you better check the visa expiry date chopped on her old passport, it cannot be later than the old passport expiry date, you need to write a letter for her to immigration to extend her visa date to contract end date in the new passport. My ex-maid visa is chopped to the expiry date of her old passport and not the contract end date, you better check at once since her visa date may be already expired and she is illegal to work for you.

你講得岩呀,她old passport內visa的expiry date不是2010年10月中,而是1月尾;和她的old passport到期日相差數天(visa expiry date 遲過 passport).我擔心她換了新passport,沒收了old passport的visa証明時,我如何用old visa stamp 去申請extend 她的visa到10月中完約呢?!
