- Are the contents of the immunisation schedule in Australia and HK the same for 4 years old?
- To meet the NSW immunisation requirements for CCB/CCR, do I have to get a doctor (Aus grad?) in HK to certify my child's HK immunisation records before we depart?
- To continue my child's immunisation schedule in the future, shall I just walk-in to any medical center for the shots?

--> Not sure about this as my son is only 2 yrs old now. There are difference in my son's age. You can check the details in GP when you arrive in Oz.

--> You dont have to go to a Oz grad doctor in HK. My son has immunisation in a private doctor and a health center in HK (public one). Both records are recon in Sydney. As long as you keep the stickers. (those stickers of each injection)

--> I just went to the GP that close to my home, & he updates all my son's record (incl those done in HK) to a website. The doctor told me the system is linked with a gove sector.
PS> the doctor realised that my son missed 2 injections in HK (due to the different scheme), so he gave my son the missing injections.
I just check her immunisation records and I found no stickers at all!!!
She has all those vacci from a public doctor (our GP in HK). The card is full of stamps only (stamp of the dates and my ...
Do you need the immunisation record to apply for something?
If there is not an urgent need, you can visit a GP when you are in Australia, and show the record. The GP will check for you to see if your child has an updated immunisation or not. And GP will arrange for the needed vaccinations.
The immunisation programme is indeed different between HK and Australia.
The 針咭 in HK is good enough, no worries.

Hi BB_Ling,
What the other mums are correct. The 針咭 in HK is good enough. You will need immuisation proof when you enrolled your son to kindergarten (around 4.5-5.5 yr old). Before application, you can go to a GP and take the missed shot and he/she will issue you a record after that. There would be 2 vaccination missed but it seems to me that the GP will be able to arrange to put them all in 1 shot (I am not 100% sure about that before it's more than 2 years ago).
My son arrived here at the age of 3 yr 8 months and we did the missing injection at around 4 years old. So, it should be similar to your case.
