Fax the PC record with a brief note to Imm Dept. This is to inform Imm Dept about the missing of the maid.

Send registered post to maid's address which is stated on the contract. For safe, cc a copy to agent.
This is to inform her to report duty to you by XXX or else you will have the reservation to claim her one-month-notice-in-leiu salary.

Change locks at home, inform all concerned parties, e.g. secruity, school teachers etc.
Search anything missing at home.

我已經警察局報案工人失蹤,
入境署fax form 說明工人失蹤及police　file no.

還有什麼要做呀?

照魚媽講咁send registered letter去....
不過可以直頭寫你會去labour 開file claim佢 notice pay, 唔駛reserve the right to claim 啦..... 等佢地成日誣告得咁過癮, 轉個頭又番嚟揾水魚！

my ex yan yan was also like that. she left her luggage in my home. I looked through her lugguage and found that she has stolen some documents from me (copy termination letter that I gave to my last maid, agency fee receipt etc). So strange that she stole those documents from me! I went to report to the police about her missing and that she stole my stuff!

Never tell the IMMI that your contract is terminated or you fall into the pit. Maids always set you up this way. When maids runaway, employers' duty is to "reprot missing" instead of and "termination". This is because contract in question is still officially valid all until either party expressly terminate it. If u report it is "terminated" it means you are the one to terminate the maid without prior notice. You will then be sued by the maid .
