hi,

Which hotel is good in Las Vegas? We're planning to go at the beginning of Jun with our 25 months old daughter.

Any suggestion?

Most of the hotels in the downtown are good. There is one interesting fact in Las Vegas - sometimes it (I mean 5-star hotel) costs >USD150 and sometimes the same room costs <USD50. Usually it charges more for second night, and charge more for some advanced booking. Most hotels do not aim to make money from the room, but to attract customers to their casino. So, that's why it can be that cheap.

In my last trip, we booked a hotel one night, and then switched to another the other nights for the rest of the trip. The hotel is a pyramid shape (cannot remember the name), so the elevator needs to move horizontally! I can remember only a few names - New York New Work, Mirage.

There are many hotels along the "strip", which is the most convenient area to stay in LV. Eg.:
Luxurious -- Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Venetian
Economical -- Circus Circus

LAS 其實一的都唔適合帶bb去! :-| 你會有好多地方同表演都唔入得! :cry: 你如果係去開美國,順路去一去LAS 就冇乜所謂. :-P 但如果係專程同bb去,就真係要諗諗! ?-(

真係要去,可考慮住 Bellagio! 係正 Las Vegas Strip, 地點好方便.:-P

Bellagio照正既選擇.

不過上次我去都帶左bb去, 仲要個時得5個月, 辛苦死, 不過去睇show就叫酒店安排左個保母睇佢, 不過下次比我去我一定唔會帶bb去o者.

I totally agree that LAS is not suitable to baby or even kid at all. The kids can be admitted to only a few places. But for a baby, I think the baby cannot enjoy those places as well, as most are machine games.

Elly,

Early June should be the low season. Most of the hotels should have promotions. Go to the hotels' websistes and check the promotions/special offers. You should be able to find some good bargains.

Bellagio : http://www.bellagio.com/

For general information of Las Vegas :

Generally, the earlier you book the rooms the more money you will save.

Also, if you have friends or relatives in the US, tell them to sign up to the hotels' websiste for e-mail promotions and book the rooms for you. This is where you get the real bargain.

In my case, I am going to visit Las Vegas with my relatives in the US in early July. This is my sixth trip to Las Vegas. I browsed Venetian's website for special offer 3 weeks ago and planned to book 3 rooms for $149 US each (special Internet price) for the trip. Last week my relative in US told me that they received and e-mail promotion from the Venetian and has booked the same rooms for $ 100 US each (very very good price).

呢間酒店我覺得風水唔係咁好,我一入到去酒店就頭暈,可能佢既外形始終係一個墓穴,所以我一定唔會住/

同埋你要注意6月去las會好好好熱

It's really really very hot in June to August in Vegas. Last time I was there in July, you are just like standing next to a boiling kettle for the whole day. You don't want to step outside coz it's really too hot.

For hotel, I personally quite like Aladdin and Paris, as they have very big rooms and price could usually be less than USD100 per night, just around USD70 - USD80. For some rooms, you may have a very good view of the fountain of Bellagio. And it's in the middle of the main strip that you can easily visit anywhere. The shopping mall in Aladdin is quite large, so you may spend sometimes shopping there.
