I have bleeding too and gotta bed rest. But the doctor can use the virginal ultrasound to check the heartbeat. Have you tried that?
when i had my 1st kid, i could only hear the heart beat of my baby on the 9th week also.
+ i was also the same as u ar, bleeding a lot, like period, but of cos not like non-stop, was on & off bleeding.
maybe cos it was 1st pregnancy, so inexperienced, didn't even got scared. I was still very busy at work, and went overseas for holiday tim~ (真係吾識死)
don't worry, my kid is just fine now 8)
