Hi All:
My son has never had Chinese BB粥仔 at all, only eat the more nutricious Baby cereal 糊仔. I add ground meat (use a hand blender to turn ground meat into 糊), fruits and vegetables in it. This is how westerners feed their babies as I was told by the pediatrician in Toronto. Never heard of "薯蓉代替粥".
I stopped feeding him baby food at 11 months when he refused to eat mushy baby food and started to feed himself by hand. So I chopped up our food for him to eat, except without any seasoning. He likes all kinds of food and is not a picky eater!
What brand of rice cereal and baby food did u feed your baby? thanks.
Hi fatping1:
Cereal-- For my son, at 5 months old I started with Heinz, then Heinz Organic and finally Milupa when he is 9 months old (because Milupa has milk in it, has to wait till he is older). I haven't decided which brand to feed my daughter yet, but probably something organic until she can eat Milupa.
Baby Food-- Heinz to start at 6 months and then at 7 months, I started to make all baby food with fresh meat and organic fruits and vegetables because I have found out how easy it is to prepare. It was easy to buy certified organic food when we were still living in Toronto. I don't know if I can trust the organic food sold in HK yet.
