抽籤移民（Diversity Visa Lottery)今年抽唔中明年可以再試，毋須等幾年。抽中的話不代表一定批的，抽籤移民也有職業限制的，只是有很多職業都OK（例如文員，通渠師傅也包括在内）。不過如合符資格一般很快就可以搞掂，毋須等十年。每年的十月到十一月接受申請。可於這網站查看申請手續

今年十月會接受2013年的申請，而且抽籤是免費的，有一些網站會收少許手續費話會幫你代辦，騙人的，你自己申請就可以了。

細妹個邊有表哥表妹係美國公民

但係係咪唔適用係我身上呀..../_\

沒用。even for your little sister. 表哥表妹對于移民美國是沒用的。又沒直係親戚，又沒有足夠錢做投資移民，最快是與美國公民結婚。抽籤移民可試，但好像買六合彩。或是遁讀書再找工作簽證(長路漫漫）。

Though i am still having the same thought... Do you think you will like and able to find a decent job in the US? 首先想想是否適合自己先，兒孫自有兒孫福。

如真的極想移民，要麼像大陸人去香港生小孩。你儲錢到美國生孩子，孩子便是美國公民，如法律還未變，等你小孩長大些到美國，成年后再申请父母去。

reminder: investment migration is USD 1,000,000 not USD 500,000.

you are not eligible for any kind of immigration cat.
so you can only try the lottery.

or you can do student visa, and find job here if you got sponser from your employer.

plus, i heard that u have to create the employment opportunities for others. if so, that means u can't just buy a house in here, but you might need to have a business which u can hire someone in here.

not as easy as immigration from investment in Canada. just an example ...

if in this case for investment
you need to open a business, hire at least 10 staffs, and 8 of them must be green card or citizen in US, and run your business over a period of time, in order for you to apply for green card.

EB-5 Immigrant Investor - To qualify you must:

1. Invest at least $1,000,000. If your investment is in a designated targeted employment area then the minimum investment requirement is $500,000.

2. Create full-time employment for at least 10 U.S. workers. This includes U.S. citizens, Green Card holders and other individuals lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. (however it does not include you (the immigrant), or your spouse, sons or daughters).

I don't know about the requirement "需要有一定嘅盈利".

我有個朋友廿幾年前嚟美國讀書，佢爸爸後來成為美國綠卡持有人，喺美國開公司，有大約廿個員工，因為六四事件，朋友讀完書就留低接手爸爸生意，因為爸爸當時只係美國居民，如果申請佢要好幾年，於是佢就用投資者身份申請綠卡，俾個律師誤導，以為只要三十五萬就合資格，其實係五十萬，咁佢識人只有三十五萬都批，點知就係唔批佢，移民局話佢唔合資格，過後都再有申請，但都因為個底花咗，次次都被reject，連律師都話會批嘅機會好微。

想請問我老公是美國公民,但我地係香港結婚,囡囡都已有美國passport(係HK出世在HK申請領取的).現在我已經係美國(我是以Travel Visa入境),我知道如我地在HK結婚我應該是要係番HK申請綠卡,但我老公係美國做嘢晤可以跟我返HK等批,而我地又晤想分開兩地.我之前都已經以Travel身份入境stay左半年其間問過下d移民顧問,佢話我可以正接試係美國申請轉身份.
請問有冇case相似?

bb出世前我似家庭主婦身份, 試過申請2次travel visa都唔批, 老公又要返美國做嘢, 一直都被避分開兩地...
