Seem no PG in tung Chung available for bb in 1 yr old ( pls correct me if any changes currently). But u can start do some research / site visit / attend open day to find your target in the district. Here r some comments that my daughter attending:
1. 協康會@ 逸東邨, $120/hr (max 8 sessions in a mth)
- cantonese, 1:8 kids, age fr 18 mths
- explore n exercise multi-sensory dev't for kids, build independence, n blend in social life in the peers
- less/no storytime, dancing along with music
- gd referral for further special care of the kid if needed, e.g. Any behavior / speaking / control of muscle problem.
- long waiting list, better call up for registration as early as possible
2. Tworiffic class @ discoverymind kindergarten in seaview crescent, fr $1,700/mth (1.5th x 2 day a wk)
- bilingual (eng n mandarin) / international (eng), 1:12 kids
- age fr 15mths, then move to PG upon age 2
- folo kinder teaching sys (circle time, artwork, story time, dancing, free time in playground, snack time), not much on multi-sensory dev't
Yes ah, heel hong has long waiting list, n usually kids will join their PG for a whole yr, so hardly have space available in the middle of the term.
So, u better call them to leave your contact, they will call u upon 1st come 1st served basis (i.e. Based on the time u firstly call them). The next term will start fr around sept.
Check other choices in tung Chung then. Or, if u r eager to join PG for your kid, try other PG out of tung Chung, like Dr Poon (more details in "組班專區"). Dr Poon is a professional in early educ
Clubhouses in CC and Coastal Skyline offer playgroup for around 6-month to 1 year old babies as well. I forgot the exact price, around 400-500 per month, 1 hr lesson, 1 class weekly.
