cutekayi: I suggest you to go to the hospital for a checkup. My situation was exactly like yours when my water broke. Is the water clear or pink? The hospital will admit you once your water has broken. Good luck, wish you have a fast and safe delivery!
I will go back to QMH if your contractions are more than 5 mins. apart because QMH has all your medical records hard copy ah. If it is your first baby, usually takes a few hours for baby to arrive after water broke so you should have enough time to get to QMH, unless it is emergency, like contractions are less than 5 mins. apart or you are bleeding.

wow. going to QMH from Yuen Long is really far away! If you call ambulance, will they drive you to QMH from Yuen Long or to the nearest hospital only?
Both of my labour starts with "water broke". In Toronto, they won't admit you to the hospital even if your water broke, unless you are GBS positive. Some women won't go into labour (cervix not dilated fast enough) days after water broke. My friend was sent home too and finally go into labour 1 week after water broke. For me with my first child, I was GBS positive and they have to admit me once water broke because they have to administer penicillin to me.
