Does anyone know :
my maid has renewed a new contract with me (the fifth one), and she requested to take her leave in Christmas, but according to the immigration laws, she has to depart HK.
She went to Macau today, and as for the costs of the ferry tickets, should I reimburse her?

But it is her request to take leave in Christmas, which I need to pay more for the air tickets!

我工人今日離境去Macau, 佢自己比錢買ticket.

我同佢係Agency度辦手續,簽左Contract跟住就由Agency去攪,我剩係知佢去Macau等入境處批佢個Visa之後才可以返香港.

I did not, cos I was doing her a favor...... otherwise, according to the Immigration, she needs to leave right before the new contract start.

Since she requested to postpone of AL, she's the one to bear the additional cost incurred

That's my case.

thanks for all your advice.

I asked my maid yesterday to see if I needed to give her the tickets fee, she said, "no no no...", and she bought me some 鳳凰卷, 我有些唔好意思tim.
