originally, it was so far so good, I consult that clinic a few times before for washing my teeth regularly, though the dentist is young (not experienced enough), I found she washes it quite in detail, the clinic is big and clean and the charges is not too expensive (I mean for teeth washing), so I continued to go there a few times before, last week, I went to take out one bigger teeth at the back (as advised by the dentist) as she said as I have quite much and frequent infection (發炎有牙瘡) on the gum besides that teeth, it means that teeth (原先度了牙根) has problem and better to take it out, she said don't wait until the teeth is painful and to come and take it, it means it's better to take it out early
my unhappy experience is happened this morning, I booked in advance to bring my 3.5 yrs old daughter to check her teeth, this is the first time she goes to a dental clinic, I asked my daughter if she is ok and she said no, I then asked if I check it first by the dentist and then followed her, are you ok, she said yes, so I think of asking the dentist to have a look of my take-out teeth and see whether it is ok (as I feel a little bit painful in some areas and wonder whether it is normal), first the staff in the reception counter told me, if so, they have the rights to charge me $180 checking fee, I definitely think it is unacceptable, I explain to them my daughter feels a bit afraid and I just want to give me as an example which means, just get the dentist to have a look and that is, it is incredible to hear that they further said, so maybe I go for checking this time and let my daughter to do it next time then, I said no as I want to get my daugher to check it this time and not me, I asked them to tell my purpose to the dentist
they finally allow me to go inside, but what I welcome by the dentist is an unhappy face and she shows no sincerity to look my 傷口, haven't let me to lie down and check in detail, just asked me to open my mouth and finish, she immediately asked me to get my daughter to sit and check, my daughter has some 牙石 and I asked the dentist to wash it at the same time, I asked her the charges and she said, same as adult, I said ok and go ahead, the first half of the washing process is fine, however, my daughter gets impatient and started crying in the later half and she refused to wash it, I saw there are some toys around and asked the dentist, let's get one to please my daughter and to calm down her crying mood, it is incredible to hear that she refuses to do so, then she said if the child refused to carry on, we can't force her to do so, I think it's ok but she gives me some words to hear, she said the charges is the same even though she just washed it for 一半, I feel very angry coz I don't mind to pay in full but I don't need her unkind reminder, as they only accept cash and I don't have enough, I told them I need to go to ATM to get some, I then go to buy some other stuff before I go to the clinic, their staff called me after 20 - 30 mins (that time is only 12:00), they said their lunch time is 1pm and don't come back too late, I think it's only 12:00 and how come you need to call me so early, are you afraid I don't pay, I just tell them I am coming and hang up immediately
to sum up, I hate their inflexible, 無愛心 and 看錢看 attitude
