Is there any Christian - English Sunday Class for children?

Hi all,

Do you know where we can find Christian Sunday Class for children? But it has to be in English and in Hong Kong Island side (Wanchai will be better).

I've been searching on this forum for sunday school for my kids and came across this thread. I am looking for an english speaking sunday school on the Kowloon side. I am aware of Kowloon baptist church in Kln Tong and St Andrew's in TST and would like to hear any comments of these two churches or recommendation of any other sunday schools.

My 2 boys have joined St Andrew's Church's Summer Prgm. It last for 5 Sundays from July 30th till Aug 27th. My boys love very much to go. I was recommended to buy CD or VCD for this prgm. They like to watch, listen, sing and dance according to the VCD I bought. It's a good prgm. This prgm is introduced from overseas (I can't remember where's it from).

Since I am not a member of the church, I don't know
what kind of Sunday School can be offered to my children after that or we can not continued.

I would like to have more information, if anybody can furnish.

Thank you for your reply. I attended St Andrews last week but unfortunately my kids were unable to join their summer programme as they were not old enough (needs to be at least 4yrs old). I was told by one of the kidszone's organisers that this week will be registration for their Sunday School which starts in Sept.

I am also looking into Evangelical Community Church in TST as the timing of their morning session is more suitable. Would be grateful if anyone could provide some info about their Sunday School.

I am also looking for an English sat or sun school for my daughter in Tsing Yi. I know there is one in St. Thomas church but the requirement is 5 yrs old. I wonder if anyone knows there is a sat or sun school for 3.5 yr old. Thank you very much.
St. John's catherdral offers an English sunday school for 2 yrs or above. However, central is a bit too far away for me.

My friend has been attending St. Andrew's for a number of years and I have heard so much positive feedback on their children's program.

As for the Kowloon International Baptist Church, their web site is http://www.hkkibc.org

They have children sessions every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (all conducted in English).

There is one at Wo Che Shatin...St. Adrew's Church ..exactly in SKH Tsang Shui Tim Secondary School.

I am not sure. I think it is somewhere around the Tsing Yi MTR but it is a big church. You can ring up 1083 and that is what I did. I think it is a christian church. Do you live in Tsing Yi too? Do you know any other church in Tsing Yi that conduct in English and allowed for 3.5 yr old child to attend?

Oh..I will try to ask by calling 1083.
No...I am not living near Tsing Yi ah...but I am looking for a good English church for my kids too.

Could please ask your friend how can I join St. Andrew's church and how my children be enrolled to their Sunday School? Do I need recommendation? Or I just sit in the church without notifying the others.

Dear Chupapa,

Sorry for the belated response.

My friend said you could contact the Church Office or any of the Sunday School teacher for the enrolment form. See whether possible you may be able to do that this coming Sunday as they only have limited places there, according to my friend.
