OK La. My favourite is the Boston Lobster, Goose Liver. The BBQ food is a little bit overburn. The beef steak is placed on the chef's side, and will be served upon request.
Children over 3 will be charged at HK$ 250.00.
Have you reserved the table in advance. I would recommend the tables adjacent to pool (with early reservation only).
How about Peninsula, HK$ 500.00 + 10%. They served better food, ie. Jumbo scallop.
Thank you for your advice! I tried Peninsula before so I wanted to try The Grill too.
I've just visited The Grill. I ageed with you that the Boston Lobster and Goose Liver were the most popular foods. :-P The BBQ foods were just so so. We sat near the pool and relaxed for a three-hour dinner. There were not too many choices of different dishes but the atmosphere there was worth to go. :-P
Have you got any AE Platinum Card? If you have, you can have Birthday Recognition - Cardmember's food portion free for a table of two or more persons in The Grill. Then, it would be a good time to celebrate your Birthday in the Grill! I forgot to use this benefit when I had my birthday! :-| Now, I am having 15% discount, better than nothing!
I had my birthday celebration in Peninsula. We had tried the Gaddi's Chef Table, we were served by Gaddi's Chef David Goodridge. He's really nice and good looking!:-P His tailored-made dishes tasted yummy and looked excellent. The dishes were quite expensive but still worth to try.
If your budget is around ~$1000 for two persons, I suggest that you can try Felix, Chesa or The Verandah in Peninsula. All of them (both environment and foods) are good and the prices are more reasonable. :-P Among three of them, I like Chesa as its environment is more warm and cosy. It serves Swiss regional specialties such as fondue. For Chesa's comments, you can click here! :-P
