I agree with you. As friend of mine bought a house in Point Cook 4 years ago.....now she has a baby girl and worry about the school here. They want to move back to eastern suburb. When my hubby and I were thinking about buying properties, we have finally decided East side as it's much developed. In terms of future growth opportunity, although you buy is at high price, but i'll rise quicker too. I'll rather buy live in a smaller space like a 2 bedroom unit and stay in Eastside. Point Cook has too many land for development.
We are planning to migrate to AUS (Melbourne) for good (mainly for our 4 year old daughter's study), and our visa application is still being processed. However, I like to ask:
1. What is age for admission to Grade 1?
2. Is there any public kindergarten (free or little charge)?
3. I learned that primiary schools in the east are basically better, but the house price is higher too. Could you share which area is good for living and with better than average primary school?
