"viisiting family" is not a strong reason while her contract expires in Sep, she can return home after 5 months.
I would not let her go and i would not pay air-ticket if she insists to go.
It's quite common recently. My helper also told me she needs to take 7 days off when she finishes the first year service.
My baby only 6 months and her performance is good. I will take annual leave to take care my baby when she goes back to Philippines. I will also find the backup in case she will not come back.
She only works 8 months at my home right now. She has so many excuses and even cried in front of me. I will let her go but will not provide air ticket.
It seems that I don't have any choices. Bless me only!
