Why judge safety by price? I believe whatever brand / price of carseat you buy, you need to make sure what safety standard it is and the most important thing is you must install it and use it properly.
1) After installed the carseat, it should be tightly fixed and cannot move (exclude booster)
2) when put the baby on the carseat, make sure there is no space between the carseat seat belt and the baby's body, if the baby can move on the carseat, it's no use when there is an accident. (exclude booster)
