I have 2 necklaces (frivole and byzantine), 1 pair of earrings (byzantine), 1 watch (all gold diamond), 2 rings (1 clover magic and 2 flowers yellow gold frivole), 1 bracelet (5 motifs white gold MOP) and 3 brooches (all vintage bought from antique fair and auction). They are so expensive, 30k can only buy the most basic 5 motif bracelet.
I consider to buy their turquoise 10 motifs but 72000 much more expensive than MOP or onyx (55000). Too expensive for a necklace without any gemstones and diamonds, just gold and inexpensive turquoise.
Van Cleef materials to many people are quite worthless as their icon items are made of mother of pearl, onyx, turquoise, chalcedony, tiger's eye and carnelian, but to me they are a piece of art just like Hermes.
I remember there was a big price increment of 26% last year in Jun or Jul, and another in Dec 2011.
Van cleef alhambra line is timeless, get 1 more piece before price goes up further.
this brand is super expensive, much more expensive than cartier. for their perlee gold bangle costs 53000 but cartier love bangle only 30xxx ja...and love bangle is heavier tim ah (i like love more than perlee).
and their alhambra diamond necklace maybe only 10 big motifs over 1m HKD...but trying is quite fun, not necessarily have to buy.
i always kick myself not knowing this brand earlier.
for 10 motifs necklace 55000, 20 motifs 110000, bracelet is 27500, i bought at 19000 before super big increase.
same price for all rose gold, yellow gold and onyx.
my mum asked me why i don't buy this watch (I tried rose gold) and buy their jewelry as the price is more sensible than jewelry. I tried the mini version (I think yours mini too?) abt 2 years ago was 7xk and comes with extra strap, now maybe 9xk la.
