don't consult the chinese medical practitioner if you want it to get better soon.
Did your doctor give you any eye drop and cream to apply on ? You need to follow the doctor's instruction strictly ga.
As my daughter has this kind of 眼倉 on the upper eyelid before and it took almost 2-3 weeks to have it totally disappeared.
One tip for you when you apply the cream and eye drop.
1) Drop the eye drop first.
2) Wait for all the eye drop is absorbed by the eyes and then apply the cream.
3) After applying the cream, request your baby to close the eye for at least 1 minute. The effect will be better.
Of course it needs your baby's cooperation very much. If she is not cooperative, apply them when she is asleep ...
:-P
For the Cream :
It depends on where the 眼倉 is, if it is on the serface of eyelid or inside. Last time my daughter's one was inside the eyelid, so i put on the margin / edge of her eyelid.
Firstly i ask her to close her eyes first. As you can imagine it is quite scary if she opens her eye while applying on the cream / eye drop.
I slightly use my finger to flip open her eyelid a little bit. Then apply on the cream.
For the eyedrop :
1) same as the cream, ask her to close the eyes.
2) then drop 1 / 2 drops on the opening area of the eyes.
3) ask her to open her eyes slowly, then the drop will gradually go inside the eyes.
You need to be gentle and assure your baby that it won't hurt, repeat telling her that. Otherwise they will be very scared ..
Thank you very much. You are so considerate, my daughter is really sacred and nervous when something is approaching to her eyes. your method of applying cream is very practicable and make the process easier.
I really would like to share my experience with all mothers here. As i understand that being a mother is a tough task, we have to face different problems happen on our kid from time to time. Sometimes it will make use very frustrated, like this time, as small as a 眼倉 will make us so headache.
Another mother suggested the method of warm pad is good, too. It will definitely speed up the recovery process.
Remind your little one to avoid rubbing the eyes. I keep telling my daughter that the 眼倉 is caused by her dirty hands, then my daughter now seldom rubs the eyes / nose. When her eyes/nose are itchy, she will ask me to use a tissue to rub for her... But of course sometimes she will totally forget about the 眼倉 la , then i will remind her again and again. haha..
My bb (only 7 months) also have 眼倉 but the doctor said 藥水 and 飲藥 do not help much. It may take a few months to recover. So we only put on 藥膏 now. I am a bit worry now because if she does not recover, she has to do operation to take it out. But she is too small....
