At the twin towers shopping mall...on the top floor there is local restaurant by the name of Madam Kwan. It serves local food at local price. It is not hard to find as there is always a long queue during lunch and dinner time.
Another one is directly opposite the entrance of Ritz Carlton specialised in rice noodles in fish soup ( wonderful for kids). I recalled the name is 家嫂.
yes yes, the food in Madam Kwan locating at the top floor of KLCC is very good. And the dessert of Madam Kwan is very good also.
Another place you can go is the Starhill mall . It's a new mall with famous brand name shop. At the basement there's a food court. the food court serves different kind of food ( thai, vietnam, chinese, malaysian, japanese...) and the decoration is very nice and high class. The price is ok. you can try it .
