Century Hyatt / Keio Hotel / Shinjuku Washington...

Dear all,
which hotel you would think it's good and convenient in Tokyo..pls give some comments, thks..
i've been Shinjuku Prince Hotel (semi double bed), the room is very small....is the Double room is much bigger??

I'll go with my boy (3 yrs old) to go.. pls comment. thks..

Hi,

I will suggest Keio Plaza Hotel. It has free shuttle bus to Disneyland. Also, the shuttle bus to/from airport is conveneint. Century Hyatt is a bit far from JR station.

I have stayed at the Keio, Century Hyatt and Prince. THe rooms in Keio and CH are much more bigger than the PRince but in terms of walking distance to SHinjuku, they are a little bit further away. CH has a shuttle bus taking you to the JR station but for Keio, you will have to walk. Having said that, Keio is nearer than CH so it is not so far to walk. Both for me are good choices. For CH, if you join their club, it is very easy to claim their benefits eg free dryclean or extra night stay or upgrade.

they are about the same price but check to see if the price includes breakfast before you compare the two

Try to call hotel to make reservation because I found they offer better rate. I did that in Easter.

I just came back from Japan. I booked a double room in Keio Plaza. When we checked in, I told the receptionist that I have a girl of 2.5 age with us. They then upgraded my room which could accommodate three persons, i.e. two beds with a very large sofa. The sofa was more than enough for my girl to sleep. Although Keio stated in its website that babies under 2 are not welcome, the staff at the hotel were very friendly to children. When we checked in/out, made enquiries, the staff would play with my girl and gave her candies. Also, the staff told us initiatively that there's free shuttle bus to Disney, which we might like to take. All in all, Keio is a good choice if you travel with your kids.

Although Keio stated in its website that babies under 2 are not welcome--- 點解not welcome baby under 2既? 我星期日飛喇, 住keio, 同行有一歲既bb喎. 另請問知唔知keio有無baby cot?

我唔係太清楚點解，可能佢地係商務酒店掛 ?-( ，不過你可在國泰假期->酒店計劃->Keio Plaza睇下，備註真係有句「不接受兩歲以下嬰兒入住」。話時話，我次次去東京都係住Keio，好似真係無見過有BB喎！你最好都係打個email比佢地睇下有無baby cot。

我諗你真係比個email佢地好d，係日本佢地分得好清楚，children 係小朋友babies/toddlers係bb，例如你去百貨公司toddler衫真係去到24m，小朋友衫要去賣「子供服」到買，我個女2.5歲最初去toddlers到睇衫，真係無嫁，個sale好好人帶左我地去賣子供服(其實係另外一邊)到，又解釋佢地日本ge分法。

我會21/5 去東京, 都係入住 keio, 我之前 send mail 問佢地房的問題, 佢冇話唔比 2歲以下小朋友入住 woo..! 佢只是話佢地的 bb 床唔夠比 23個月的 bb 訓(我bb 23 個月大), 佢地重提供 2間 resturant , 有 kids menu 供應...

Yes, I call the hotel directly and they speak English quite well. If you book yourself, they don't need quarantee and you can cancel 2 days before. It's more flexible.

I book air ticket through Lotus. Tel : 23161106. Their service is very good. Try to call and check package to compare.
