Medela or Avent (Manual) pump

Hi all moms,

Does anyone give me some comment on whether Medela or Avent is better?

I want to buy a manual pump. I tried the Avent before when I have my first son. But some of my friends said Medela is better and faster? Anyone tried both before?

Please advise.

Hi lwlw,

1. I am using Medela single mini + Avent manual pump. Very good and effective!

2. My colleaques are using Medela large electric double pumps(樂天型 & 韻律型).
Feedbacks are good too!

Thank you for your comment.

But which one is faster? Since when I use the Avent manual pump, it takes me almost 20 minutes each time for both breast. But my friend said if use the Medela large electric double pumps, it takes only 5 minutes for both breasts.

1. 韻律型 is quite comfortable and fast.

2. BTW, I am using the two single pump for pumping milk both sides at a time, spending only 10 mins. But I usually keep on pumping for 5 more minutes for stimulation.
