請海外bun bun唔洗$500代理費,是否很平?

最近在元朗區行街,見到有一間 agent 寫 住$480代理費.入去問,果然是,不過要先比$1480 ($500保險;$500在港驗身費;話工人來了若不須此兩樣可全退回$1000).剛剛我想換個新bun,甘平是否信得過? ?-(

有冇咁好呀,邊間先?我就唔係好信,對預繳有d保留= =會唔會個工人過到黎又話一定要俾先,過到黎一定要俾既話咪pk,個工人都到左,到時你又吹佢唔漲o架 wo

我有入去問清楚,他們給我的宣傳單列明包單程票,領事和入境處簽證費,到港前2次驗身,專人接機,到領事館及辦id;保用2年,包換(換人的機票錢重係當新工人來時有得取回).甘係唔係超筍.不過,我有d唔明,佢地點計都無mug錢袋?所以問下人有無問題law!聽朋友講,街外最平都要$800.

p.s. 間公司:約x僱傭,個staff重好像幾誠懇老實tim!

HI,

I also hired two maids from this St. Jxxxxx Employment Agency. The charge is really below $500. This agency would ask you to pay HK$2,000 as a deposite to guarantee you will pick up the maid; and will return this deposite upon the maid's arrival.
Normally, I will buy also the insurance and body check-up from St. Jxxxxx. They don't earn money from the employer but from the maid only.

In fact, this employment agecy's service is not so good but only cheap. They will not fax any "urgent" request to the immgration , but always ask you to follow by yourself. For my second maid, whenever there is problem, I feel the staff has bais. When I terminate her, she never ask if I need to hire another maid.

The above is only my experience with this company. Maybe someone have differenct case.

Firstly, thank you for your sharing! Could you mind telling me which shop of the St. Jxxxxx you used, because they have two branches, one in Tin Shui Wai & one in Yuen Long. Furthermore, I also want to ask did they only provide phone interview for choosing maid. It is because when I want to see some video tapes concerning the maids that I choose. They only can provide one or two for me. They explained that the videos for the other maids not yet been received, so I only can choose them by phone interview. Do you think it's reliable? Please advise, thanks.

Hi Sumheima,

I'd contacted with Tin Shui Wai only. It is located in Ginza, next to McDonald.

As my experience, both the phone interview, and the video are not so reliable.

For phone interview, we can only ask the questions to see whether the candidates are logical and sensible. I also chose a maid who had phone interview before. However, this maid quality is not good. She cannot take care children, & cannot cooking.

For video, you can see their apperance. Their introduction is canned/standarized. Somehow you can judge judge whether the maid is cheerful, mature, ..... In my mind, St Jxxxxx cannot provide for most of the time because their Philipines partner cannot provide such kind of things.

Let's share my poor experience.

I was lucky in the first time that I hired a quite good maid, but I didn't have intention to sign another contract with this maid. Then, I go to hire a new one from Philip. Last, I need to spend est. HK$4,200.- to terminate her after four months even I had given her some many time for adjustment. Then, I'm unlucky to have another Philip. who have mentally problem like depression, and working around 3 weeks. Now, I need to look for another with immediate working with me. It cost more $ that I expected.

I think if your existing maid is good, u better sign the new contract with her as some maids are really not up-to-standard.

如果佢地收d maid 甘多,d maid 都肯(相比其他agent來講),甘d maid 會唔會是很心急出來打工,質素參差d呢?
講到工人續約,如果佢係bun bun,佢應該自己懂得點辦手續,因我之前做了6年個,2次都是我負責文件,佢去immigration & 領事館辦手續續約,唔難ga!

I think it's strange for the agency cannot provide the video interview, because it is so common and reasonable for the employers to choose a suitable candidate from the sight screening i.e video tapes. I am not sure I can choose a good maid even have video interview; mostly it's by luck. So, how come can I sort a right candidate if only depending on a phone interview or some limited paper description.
