I wouldn't approve it. This is possibly her plan to ask for holiday during Christmas time after she worked for you for 2 month (too soon to judge if she is really a good one).
If I were you I will ask her seriously why didn't she tell me her plan at the time of the interviewed instead of raising this problem after working for me, see what kind of reason she will gives you. If she said this is not her plan, then I will just ask her to go back home later on because this is not easy for me to arrange back up in December.
If you think she miss her family, why didn't let her go back home before she starts working for you!
To Philippino, especially for those who have been working overseas, they do have some savings, of course she said "no paid is acceptable to her" because she wants fun.
It is really all up to you and your feeling on her but better think clearly...imagine all those bad experience that other BK mom experienced. I always has reservation on all they say.
