Never too late....it's good you are aware of this. Hope that your relations with your mother will get better and better under the love of God.
For me, I have very good relations with my mother as if we were friends (she is only 20 years younger than me). Since she is also a Christian, we could share with the same value. However, my relations with my mother-in-law is quite bad. I admit this is not good.....she is very old, traditional and superstitious. I have been crying this for years and hope that God will change my heart. :-(
