We'd asked Ivan for a demo at our office today already. We told him there were 2 mami, he still visited us with 3 hours notice. So we gave him a surprise: finally 10 potential customers
About the card: it's read by barcode, so even if bent, or even with pencil marks on the code, still can work. Of course, if the barcode is torn off, no way.
The paper material: it's just normal card material without lamination, so I do not think it's very durable. Ivan said the card can be replaced at HK$30 each.
The content: start with abc, then with short phrases like "clap your hands", advanced with some simple conversation. The cartoons are quite good as it's sold in Japan. Voice is by MP3, very clear. Auto shut down after 5 minutes idling.
The way of game: it reads when it runs on the track, and can record baby's own voice by pushing a button.
For the machine: it looks like a plastic toy and run on batteries. It has 1 year warranty, but has to send the machine to their Tsuen Wan office/factory. After 1 year, checking fee each time is $100.
For 普通話: if paid $980 (already with 25% off) more, can read 普通話 of the same set of cards.
Song card: it's another add-up...can't remember exactly, about $480 for 30 songs. It comes with a song book with prescribed game.
As I have not seen DWX's set, I cannot compare. Can anyone state the difference?
