no matter how long /short is the cycle, count from the 1st day of your last cycle---because you can't be sure of the day of fertilization, so the counting always starts on that day (so you can see it's not a very accurate counting and so there may be a time gap of up to 2 weeks)
When we say 6 wk pregnancy, that does not refer to the exact "age" of the embryo/feotus.

Thank you very much. I worried a bit because there're already 2-3 colleagues of mine who got pregnant. I'm afraid if I tell my boss, she will give me a long face.
I do want to see the doctor, but he's on leave and the booking is full until mid Sept!
