We speak English with our ex-bun for almost 99% of the times and she showed her initiative to learn cantonese when she first come. However, when i taught her some single words, she always say 'so difficult' compare to mandarin (she can speak mandarin). So later she give up to learn la.....i guess like most of the bun, they are unwilling to speak but can hear some cantonese lor
