I think if you live there it's fine, as you go barbeque and parties with friends for hot X'mas. If you go for holidays probably you may get the closing shops for the X'mas days. I've always liked winter X'mas, but the few hot X'mas I had in Sydney were not too bad afterall, yes, bikinis with santa hats!
