HELP!!HELP!! i opened mailbox and saw a letter for my maid from Finance & credit company!!
She just arrived last Friday.

And I open the letter? is it against the law?
Or do I need to give to her?? :-( :-(

開人地既信係好無禮貌, 一定唔可以係小朋友面前做...
但係債主臨門係就要keep 住封信, 叫佢係你面前開比你睇,
唔比睇就一定要炒...

我都試過這個情況, 我會要求同佢一齊開封信睇, 同問佢點解要借錢, 睇下佢借左幾多錢, 在佢下個月薪金扣起要佢一定要還錢, 同時同僱傭公司聯絡, 我果次無立即抄佢, 只係同佢講唔可以再同人借錢, 如有下次, 我會抄佢, 咁之後都再無下次啦!

if I confirm that she did borrow a loan, what should I do? Is there anything to watch out for? should I fire her?

Is it common for maids to get loan?? Should we allow it?

唔好咁緊張住...如果係新o黎o既多數係 agency fee...因為我用o左3個都有...有o的成 HKD 21,000 添 ($3,000 x 7個月)...呢o的係 agency o既招數...妳要打去 agency 確認此事及通知不接受呢件o野o既任何信件用妳的地址...要寄o既就寄去 agency 度

係ah!我個印印黎左個几星期,我都收到封咁ge信,,於是我打佢agent問,原來係還agent fee信, 嚇得我!!

信外面應該有公司名??你都可以打去agent問下,先將封信交比你個工人.如果agent都唔知係咩黎,你可以叫工人係你面前拆封信,問清楚係咩黎,封信用左你地址,我諗咁使都几合理.

私自拆人信,點講都唔岩!

yes ah..thank you smypig! you are right ah...it's for agency fee. thank you ah..i was so nervous..i didn't want to fire her right away, because so far, her work is good.
