my friend is a qualified accountant from ACCA/HKSA + law degree and a master in Accounting, and have 10 yrs + working experience. got only $20K and no bonus (i.e. only 12 month salary).
so unless you really work for the same firm for long - otherwise, the market outside is really competitive.
i will say just around $6-6.5K. for those without a/cing cert.
No definition to tell you higher education can get higher salary. In my dictionary, promotion or salary increment is by luck or by change more than everything. Now a day HK, employer is going to mad when they employ or promote a staff they will consider low salary, high education, single, no child, not a only son at home.
