any signs to see baby is ready to crawl ?

My bb is unwilling to learn crawl.. I want to ask is there any baby knows stand before crawl ?

My friend had 2 kids , she told me that his younger one is crawling starts around 9 months and the elder one is skipped crawling and would go straight to walk on 11 months ...

so I dont really worry my bb can crawl or not
