My baby has the Strawberry Birthmark too, and it is under her right eyelid. I am afraid it will get bigger and block her vision, so we took her to the specialist doctor and have the laser treatment to prevent the birthmark to grow. So far, she has two laser treatments, and the birthmark is not as puffy and red as before. She started her first treatment when she was only 14 weeks old. She is now 18 weeks already and will need approx. 6 more treatments.
You need to monitor closely with the growth of the mass as it is near the eye area. My girl has a hemangioma over her right eye browse when she was 1 month old which kept on growing until 2 years old. Doctors said it will stop and decrease in size but no one can guarantee that the mass will be totally disappeared. My girl received different treatments - oral medicine, injection and laser, and finally surgery. Her eyesight has been seriously affected by the mass and she now needs to wear glasses. Luckily she is recovering and improving gradually.

How old is your daughter? How big was your daughter's hemangioma? What was the first treatment she had? My baby's doctor does not recommend any medication at this time as it might have side effects. He thinks the best choice is laser treatment. Hopefully the laser will help.
