Yes, for travel only...
my 3 yr old girl will be going to Toronto this Summer for Summer camp... becuase she'll be staying with her grandmother... I think taking my Yan Yan there helps a lot.
Anyway , my question is:
1. You think they can get visa easily?
2. Has anyone has experience in this?
I've tried US visa for my yanyan before... they rejected her!! HOw about Cananda??
I took my bun bun there last summer. It should be quite easy to get the visa as we also saw a yan yan with her employer on the plane on our way there. But my bun bun ran away the day before we return to HK so you might want to consider if you want to bring her there.
yes, I heard about many bun bun ran away story, especially in Cananda... but Yan Yan should be better in theory.. since they don't speak English....
My yan yan is quite reliable...( always not 100% la). She has been with us for quite a long time la.
Yes, US is super hard to get visa for maids..... I'll say they reject almost everybody!
I took my bun bun with me to Toronto last summer and no problem at all with her visa, but you as employer need to write a letter to the consolate to give them comfort that she will be with you at all times and you will support all her expenses while she is there
U mentioned that u had brought your Indo maid to apply for US visa but the application was rejected before, right? Did the US consul put any rejection stamp on her passport? If there is such a stamp, the CA consul may also reject her!
No ar... no rejection stamp... they just brushed her off and told her " Maid is quite hard to go to US with employer" ( it was about 3 months after 911... and things were very sensitive about Muslim)
That was it.
Anyway, I am not optimistic about her getting CA visa too!
I do agree not to let your maid to go Canada; If yr maid is a bad girl & u ask for her willingness now, she may have time to plan how to 'escape'. If yr maid is a good girl or u ask for her willingness too late, she may reject u... Although 印印 is not as smart as bun bun, it is still no good to let them go. Remember you are the liable person who write to guarantee her application...
