I am not sure about that too. But I "heard" that for people who got a medical degree outside Canada (no matter where). It is quite harsh for them to practise here.

I see two cases here to share but not sure about the details:

I seen one case, an experienced doctor who come from HK, he need to study here in University for 2 years and got a degree in "Family Practise" before he can practise as a GP here.

I also seen another cases who was an experienced doctor who come from Iran, she actually need to study in Univeristy for 4 years plus practise as an "houseman" for one full year, before she can come into practise.

For LLB, I didn't heard of any cases.
