I hired 現成工人 and signed the contract on Jan 11 and she can start on board on Jan 30. It's around 2-3 weeks.
Everything has pros and cons. I can have an interiview in person and arrange her to try at my house. The drawback is the commission is higher than the overseas, etc.
I cannot afford to wait 2-3 months for an oversea maid so I took the local. If there is anything wrong with her, I can start the selection process anytime.
Forgot to mention
1. For my case, the commission is around $3k
2. Prefer to find the maid who has finished the contract, better for 2 contracts (4years) or above staying with the same employer
Yes, my maid also resign after finish 2 contracts because she wants to find a family more comfortable!
However, it is humanity, so don't be unhappy! :lol:
My agent is Asia-one in TW (tel.:34223523). Actually I just walked in there and found some maids sitting there and waiting for the interview. I know not many agencies like to get the local application. Not sure why. The agent I used before did not have local maids to choose so Asia-one is also my first time.
It really depends on your luck. If you want to choose younger one, you will not have the choice because all the local applications for this batch is older maids. But it's no harm to give the agent a call.
Another advantage to hire 現成工人 is that you can check the reference with the previous employers.
