同bb轉房, 有"mug" tips 可以順利過渡?

我 bb 依家同我一間房, bb自己訓bb 床, 想安排bb自己訓一間房, 但驚佢唔慣, 有"mug" tips 可以順利同佢轉房?

因 e+ 張 bb 床差不多頂頭啦, 我都打算要 sophie 瞓番自己房張大床, 唔知有咩要留意呢?

just 轉房 on Tue. and for the first two days

for first night (6/3)
---> I slept in the sofa bed, and she cried at around 12 a.m. (as usual) and stood up, I picked her up and after she settled, put her down and she slept till about 3 a.m., made noise again and I pat her a bit, slept till 6:30 a.m.

for second night (7/3)
----> I slept in the sofa bed, and she made noise at 12 a.m. but I ignored her (pretend that I was not inside the room) and she slept again. She cried a bit at about 4 a.m. and I pat her a bit then she slept till 7:15 a.m. (in between always made noise but no need to pick her up)

tonight, I will not sleep with her, hope she can sleep well straight throughout the night.

oh, u just started changing room and hope to hearing your good news today.

my c6 afraid sophie would get cold during sophie sleeps in her room without closely monitor (he even didn't know sophie woke up at night :tongue: ).

do you using any baby monitor system? i have 2 kinds of such things given by friends. my friend said she used the hearing one putting in kitchen while the monitoring one putting in baby room. i'm not sure whether this can be workable for baby room + my room at night. but, it seems better than nothing.

i think i would try when weather is getting warm as there is no sofa bed in my baby room. i just need to sleep on the floor with a thick bed sheet and hope the transition period would be 2 or 3 days.

yesterday is a good experience

third night (8/3)

----> i did not sleep with bb this night. She slept through till morning and woke up at 7 a.m. , in between, she made noise at 11 a.m., 12 a.m. but I resisted to go inside her room to check, after a while, she slept again and made no more noise.
between 12 and 5 a.m., she never made noise (or if she made, I could not hear as I slept ), she made noise again at 5:30 a.m. and I sneaked into her room to check and found she was still sleeping. Thus, I never disturbed her.

my c6 is the same as your c6 who is always worried about bb getting cold and feeling lonely. I have educated him for a long time and pushed him to believe me. now, he is more ok though whether he heard bb's sound, he thinks she wakes up but actually she does not.

all c6s are scared of bb's crying.

for the monitor, I have one (CARE) but is not good as it has a lot of feedback and is noisy. So I do not use. Instead, I put a something like a speaker at bb's room so that when she makes noise, I can hear clearly in my room.

Sophie was also successfully to change her cot and room too! Starting from last wed night, I slept with her for 3 nights in her own room. She slept well with extending her arms. But, it was so free to roll and rotate too. Therefore, I put 2 large dolls at the bottom of cot and pillows in one side to limit her free space.

For sat night, as she so tired & excited after playing 3 hrs in OS playroom, she fall asleep from 11:30pm till 7:00am without wake up. After sun outing, she was so sleepy and separated her last meal into two 4 oz at 9:30pm and 2:00am.

I use chicco baby monitor and it is good without noise.

good to hear sophie's progress.

for hongching, after her discharge from hospital, she still could sleep quite well at night, sometimes, only wake up once usually and could sleep very fast again after we pat her a bit. however, yesterday, she woke up five times, though every time she sleeps again very fast, maybe, the temperature suddenly drops last nite and she is cold. :-(

hope she could sleep throughout the nite everynight.
