I've heard that fruits that turns brown quickly after open contains alot of iron, and iron will make poo poo even harder. (eg: apples, bananas, pears) Try to give something like kiwi, oranges, grapes, prune juice. Heard that "yik lic dor" will help make the intestine moves too. For veggies, try to give your bb more brocolli or cauliflower. Drink more water is the best for constipations.
yeah !! 蕃薯粥 is good, 蕃薯 have alot of fibre. You can try to give some black sesame sweet soup too(jeee ma woo), but i don't know if a 1 yr old can eat that tho !! hahahahaha !! My bb always have constipation, one time she even went to the hospital because of that too. Her poo poo was as hard as a rock and it's even bigger than mine. She bleed and cried like hell everytime she goes poo poo and she is even scared of going to the toilet to poo poo for a while.
My BB was once like that too, i guess you'll have to give your BB more fibre to eat, drink more water and juice. That time my bb's contipation was so serious that the doctor at the hospital suggested me to give her something call mineral oil (mix it with her milk in the morning), but this mineral oil cannot be used for more than 1 week or it will be toxic. My BB used the mineral oil for 4 days and her poo poo came out smoothly, it's like some oil wrapped her poo poo. After that, she is not scared of poo pooing anymore. But I don't suggest it until you get to the point where your doctor said it should be used.
