我bb一出世就開始聽音樂,約9-10個月開始聽故事,有時工人講,有時聽CD.現在她好喜歡聽故事,不過集中力不太耐.聽音樂就好熱切.她有40多本書,得閒自己會翻閱.

I started to read to them when they were 3 months old. They did not understand anything then, but just to get the habit started.

My elder daughter is now 4.5 and we read every night for about 30mins.

My baby daughter also loves books. She is now 15 months and somethings she will get the books from the shelf and "read" with great laughters.

i started 'reading' books with my bb when she was two months old. now she is 11 months old, she can take her beloved books, read the pictures and enjoy herself.

board books are much recommended. they are hard enough. (of course, bb like 'eating' the books. it is much better for us to keep an eye on them when they read)

Sooner the better, whether they understand or not is never important. You are just playing as a role model on reading books and speaking out. Babies will learn from your body language.
