According to the lease agreement, the rental amount include govt's rent and rate. Now two quarters of govt rate (April - Sept 2007) will be waived. Should the landlord deduct relevant amount of govt rate from the rental amount for two quarters? Anyone knows?
The original rental amount include the govt rent and rate. If it is the tenant to pay the govt rent and rate, the rental amount would have been set to a lower amount, therefore, concession of govt rate should be refunded to the tenant.
Besides, even those public estate will got the refund of rent on the govt rate portion. They even complain about the late refund.
