My son was infected 3 times within 2 months, after taking 3 days antibiotic he's get well quickly. At his third infection I asked the doctor should we consider surgery but the doctor said when children grow older their immune system will become stronger and less likely to be infected. The doctor also said if medication is effective my son dosen't need an operation. So I don't worry too much and it's almost 3 months from his last infection now.
