my baby girl needs to get her birth cert in 2 weeks. i am now having a real headache whether i should put her father's name in. though we are already apart, i mean me and her father, but i afraid that not filling up the name of the father will affect her choice of studies in the future... since lots of kindergarten still have subjective opinion or bias against single-parent family.
it's very normal to have single-parent family nowadays, but to school, it's could still be very conservative sometimes. my only concern is the influence to her future studies...

It's ridiculous if they'd put the background of the kids into the education judgement!
If that's true will really piss me off~cause this is a joke for me that wasn't study in HK, i never heard anything like that in UK, goddness me
Anyway, if you're really worry then put her dad's name will slove your concern~
